Rubin Worldwide, in an effort to continue to monitor how technology creates value, has launched the Technology Leadership Index.
The Technology Leadership Index (TLI) tracks the cumulative performance of 300+ leading technology firms (click here for member list) vis a vis the Dow Jones Industrial Average, the S&P 500, and the Fortune 500. Since 2006, the TLI has averaged a 0.88 % difference from the DJIA, 6.06 % from the S&P, and -1.3 % from the Fortune 500 companies although currently the TLI is 4.73 % above where it was in January 2006, vs. -1.43 % for the DJIA, -8.64 % for the S&P 500, and 7.33 % for the Fortune 500 companies.
